William C. McMillin, OD  

Dr. McMillin graduated from the University of Alabama in 1978 and began his Colonial Heights Optometry practice in June of that year.

The Colonial Heights/Tri-Cities area is home to Dr. McMillin and he enjoys the opportunity to provide his neighbors with their comprehensive eye care needs.  He also appreciates being a part of this community and feels blessed to be able to partner with the area schools and organizations to help keep his community a safe and properous place to live. Billy McMillin, OD  

McMillin Eyecare is pleased to announce that Dr. Billy McMillin joined our staff on June 22, 2009.  Dr. McMillin received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville in 2005.  He received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of
Alabama - Birmingham School of Optometry on May 18, 2009.  He and his wife, Cara are originally from Kingston, TN and are looking forward to making the Tri-Cities their home.  They enjoy many outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends and traveling. Top

Margaret Strickler

Margaret began working for Dr. McMillin 8 years ago as his front desk receptionist. Last year she made a move to the finishing lab where she now makes the glasses. You may also find her helping you with adjustments and repairs to your present glasses or helping you to select a new frame.  Margaret also assists Dr. McMillin by performing various medical tests. Ginger

Ginger joined Dr. McMillin's office staff in February 2009. She helps manage the front desk and looks forward to helping each of our patients with appointments, billing or any other need they might have while visiting our office. Top

Tracy Strickler

Tracy will be the first person you see when you come to Dr. McMillin's office. Her job is to answer the phone, schedule appointments, answer questions or direct you to the appropriate staff member to assist you with whatever your needs may be. Top

Sharon Hoover

Sharon is a licensed Optician of 17 years and has worked for Dr. McMillin for 12 years. Helping patients see better and helping them to find just the right frame that suits their individual personality and needs is very rewarding. Top

Tammy Frye

Tammy has been part of Dr. McMillin's office staff for 16 years. Her primary job is Contact Lens Specialist but she also assists with fitting and frame selection in our Optical department as well as administering various medical tests. Tammy has enjoyed being a part of Dr. McMillin's staff and she looks forward to serving you with your eye care needs. Kris Vaughn

Kris joined Dr. McMillin's office in January 2005 as one of his front desk receptionist. In February 2009, Kris made the move to insurance management.  The insurance industry is complicated and ever changing but Kris looks forward to the challenge and will be bringing wonderful organizational skills to the process of insurance filing and management.
