Our in-house laboratory allows us to serve you better. Our lab has the lastest in equipment to not only fabricate your glasses, but to maintain and repair them should they become broken or damaged. With many of our single vision prescriptions, same day service is available.

William C. McMillin, OD
Dr. McMillin graduated from the University of Alabama in 1978 and began his Colonial Heights Optometry practice in June of that year.
The Colonial Heights/Tri-Cities area is home to Dr. McMillin and he enjoys the opportunity to provide his neighbors with their comprehensive eye care needs. He also appreciates being a part of this community and feels blessed to be able to partner with the area schools and organizations to help keep his community a safe and properous place to live. Top

Billy McMillin, OD
Dr. Billy McMillin joined our staff in 2009. Dr. McMillin received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama - Birmingham School of Optometry in 2009. He and his wife, Cara are originally from Kingston, TN but now call the Tri-Cities their home. In August 2012, Dr. Billy and Cara welcomed the birth of their son, “Will”. Top

Margaret Strickler |
Margaret began working for McMillin Eyecare in 1999 as his front desk receptionist. In 2006, she made a move to the finishing lab where she now makes the glasses. You may also find her helping you with adjustments and repairs to your present glasses or helping you to select a new frame. Margaret also assists the doctors with various medical tests. Top

Ginger

Ginger joined McMillin eyecare staff in February 2009. She helps manage the front desk and looks forward to helping each of our patients with appointments, billing or any other need they might have while visiting our office. Top

Tracy Strickler

Tracy will be one of the first people you will see when you come to McMillin Eyecare. Her job is to answer the phone, schedule appointments, answer questions or direct you to the appropriate staff member to assist you with whatever your needs may be. Tracy became a member of McMillin Eyecare in 2006. Top

Sharon Hoover

Sharon is a licensed Optician of 20 years and joined McMillin Eyecare in 1996. She enjoys helping patients see better and helping them to find just the right frame that suits their individual personalities and needs. Top

Tammy Frye
|
Tammy has been part of the McMillin eyecare staff since 1992. Her primary job is Contact Lens Specialist but she also assists with fitting and frame selection in our Optical department as well as administering various medical tests. Tammy enjoys being a part of Dr. McMillin's staff and she looks forward to serving you with your eye care needs. Top

Delois

Delois is BACK!! Delois began as a front desk receptionist and insurance clerk for McMillin Eyecare in 1994. As Vision/Medical insurance needs and claims began increasing, Delois became our full-time insurance clerk. In 2009, she decided to semi-retire but missed us so much she came back at the end of 2010. She works part-time and is again filing your insurance claims. Top

Beth

McMillin eyecare welcomed Beth in July 2009. Beth is the person calling to confirm your appointment and, if needed, to clarify any question we may have about your insurance coverage. During the lunch hour, Beth helps keep everything moving efficiently at the front desk. Top

Karen

Karen joined our staff in November of 2010. She is a native of West Virginia and relocated to Tennessee with her family in 2006. We are very pleased to have her working with us. Her primary job will be various clerical duties and working as a receptionist. She has been a great addition to our staff at McMillin Eyecare. |
